ParentLine
Parent Line is a telephone counselling, information and referral service for parents of children ages 0 to 18 who live in New South Wales. It is available Monday – Friday 9am to 9pm; Saturday – Sunday 4pm to 9pm. Parents, grandparents and carers anywhere in the state can call Parent Line for no more than the cost of a local call.
CCareline
The CCareline team provides a phone-based advice, advocacy and referral service for Sydney families. Being the first point of contact into CatholicCare, CCareline staff assist in finding relevant services such as - family support, counselling, specialist services for domestic and family violence, help with addictions.
Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service of NSW (GLCS)
GLCS (now incorporated into Twenty10 – see website below) provide free telephone counselling, referrals and support groups for LGBTI people and their families, on matters of sexuality and life issues.
Q LIFE
QLife a national teleweb service for LGBTI people, enables LGB, T & I communities to work towards better health and understanding by providing a place to talk about mental health and general wellbeing concerns. It is available from 3 pm to midnight, also offering online chat during that time.
